PROGRAMS
Opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to develop their skills and love of the game.
The BFC Way
We offer year-round programs for Girls and Boys ages U6 through U18, providing opportunities for players to learn, develop, compete, and grow at every stage of their soccer journey. Our programming is built around a simple belief: players develop best when they are challenged in the right environment at the right time. As players grow, we offer a variety of programs and team experiences that reflect different levels of commitment, competition, and development. Team construction evolves by age, moving from more balanced and inclusive groupings at younger ages to increasingly intentional placement based on player development, goals, and readiness. This flexible approach helps ensure every player has access to meaningful opportunities to build skills, gain confidence, and deepen their connection to the game.

Programs for Girls & Boys
U6-U12 FALL ACADEMY
Running from late August through October, the BFC Fall Academy provides a development-focused environment for younger players to build skills, confidence, and a love of the game. Designed for players in the U6 through U12 age groups, the program combines high-quality training with age-appropriate competition to support long-term player development.
Training sessions emphasize ball mastery, creativity, decision-making, and individual technical growth, while league matches provide opportunities for players to apply what they have learned in a game environment. Through meaningful competition and guided reflection, players develop not only as soccer players, but also as teammates and individuals.
MIDDLE SCHOOL FALL ACADEMY
Designed for middle school players, the BFC Middle School Fall Academy complements the local school soccer season with additional opportunities for technical development and competitive play. Because middle school teams often play multiple matches each week, there is limited time available for focused skill development during the school season.
The program features a series of Sunday morning training sessions throughout the fall, focused on technical development, small-sided games, and tournament-style competition. Sessions are designed to challenge players, encourage creativity, and provide opportunities to develop technical skills while continuing to compete in a fun and engaging environment.
U6-U18 WINTER/SPRING TEAM PROGRAMS
BFC Winter/Spring Team Programs provide players with consistent training, meaningful competition, and a clear pathway for continued development throughout the year. Serving boys and girls from U6 through U18, the program is designed to help players build technical skills, improve game understanding, and develop the confidence and resilience needed to compete at their highest level.
Teams train regularly from December through June, combining structured player development with league play, tournaments, and other competitive opportunities appropriate to each age group and stage of development. Younger players focus on building strong technical foundations and a love of the game, while older players are challenged through increasingly competitive training and match environments.
During the winter months, teams train indoors to maintain continuity and maximize player development. As the weather improves in the spring, teams transition outdoors and continue preparing for league play, tournaments, and other competitive experiences. Team competition schedules are determined based on age group, player development needs, and team goals.
Whether a player is seeking a local developmental experience or a more competitive pathway, Burlington FC provides an environment where players can continue to grow, compete, and pursue their potential throughout the year.
